The release of the warrant request, while heavily redacted, seems to contradict Peter Strzok’s congressional testimony that he had nothing to do with asking the FISA court to issue surveillance warrants in the so-called Russian collusion case.

Steve Byas is a professor of History & Government at Randall University, in Norman, Oklahoma. For nearly four decades he has been a publishing partner of the Oklahoma Constitution newspaper.
